14 Church Street is a delightful period apartment with a modern twist.

Located just 2 minutes walk from Windermere train station it makes a fantastic base to explore all that the Lake District has to offer. The apartment boasts an elegant open plan living area, with a well equipped kitchen and large comfortable beds in cozy bedrooms to ensure you are well rested for the next days plans.

Just seconds away, on Windermere high street, you will find local shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.

 

The space

14 Church Street is an entire apartment right in the centre of the iconic Windermere village. It is newly furnished in a modern style, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The flat provides two bedroomed accommodation over one level and with modern, gas central heating.

Accessed from the road at the front, step through the entrance hall and up a flight of stairs to be welcomed into the open plan living room and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. A spacious table for four and modern sofa where you can relax watching Netflix on the smart TV.

Down the characterful hallway there are two spacious bedrooms, complemented by the period window arches that cast light gently into each room. Soft, luxury bedding and soft furnishings, alongside contemporary furniture make the rooms exceptionally comfortable and relaxing.

The bathroom is a light, crisp and fresh room with a bath/shower, heated towel rail and a large mirror so it is easy to prepare yourself for the day ahead.

Located seconds away from the centre of the village there are a selection of beautiful boutique shops (our favourite is Peter Hall and son, a furniture maker who boast stunning window displays) and some fantastic bars and restaurants. The best bars in Windermere, The Smith and The Craft Baa are just 2 minutes from the front door. Booths, the main supermarket is also just 2 minutes walk away next to the train station which makes shopping for your stay, very easy!

There is on street parking directly outside the front door for 1 hour during the day so it is easy to unload the car into the apartment before parking for longer at one of the car parks in the village. The nearest car park is Broad Street car park which is a 5 minute walk.

 

Guest access

-Exclusive access to the whole apartment.
-You can access the apartment by self check in via a key safe.

The key safe is located right next to the front door and the keys will be inside. As soon as the flat has been cleaned on your day of arrival, we will message you the code for the key safe as well as the check in guide. Please make sure you look at the check in guide as it includes pictures of the property which will make the process easier. If you require any assistance please get in touch, we are always happy to help you.

 

Other things to note

The apartment shares a common entrance with the shop below. Just inside we have our own front door however making everything beyond separate and secure.

There is a short set of stairs leading up to the apartment.

Our check in time is at 4 pm and the check out time is 11 am. This is so we have enough time to clean the flat thoroughly and in case we need to fix any problems before your arrival. We always try to get the flat ready sooner than 4 pm and if we do we will message you as soon as it is ready for you. Unfortunately we cannot allow check out later then the check out time of 11 am as we need this time to clean for the next guests.

We are also unable to store the bags in the flat before and after check in due to our cleaning arrangements. There is however a luggage storage facility at Windermere train station. We can send you the information where to find it etc. simply ask us.
